Strong Indigenous organizations are built the same way communities are built - grounded in people, culture and care.
Strategic HR leadership and advisory, rooted in Inuit perspective, supporting organizations in building and strengthening their foundations.

Indigenous organizations deserve systems built for them, not imposed on them.
Stone Path Consulting was created to help Indigenous organizations build strong, self-sufficient institutions that support their right to self-governance and self-determination.

Too often, workplace systems are imported from outside structures that do not reflect Indigenous leadership traditions, values, or community realities.
Stone Path helps organizations build people and leadership systems rooted in their own values, while supporting accountability, growth, and strong governance.

Because strong organizations allow communities to thrive.
Stone Path began long before the company existed.
The name Stone Path honours my Inuit grandmother, Mary Epoo Stone.

For more than 30 years, she and my grandfather operated a transit house in Montreal for Inuit women and children travelling from Nunavik for medical care.

Their home became a place of warmth, safety, and community for families navigating unfamiliar systems far from home.

Witnessing the way they cared for others deeply shaped my understanding of service, leadership, and responsibility.

The name Stone Path reflects the belief that meaningful progress is built slowly and intentionally, one stone at a time, creating a path forward for others.

Experience matters.
But relationships matter more.
As an Inuit HR leader with more than 15 years of senior experience, I have spent the majority of my career working alongside Inuit and Indigenous organizations navigating growth, leadership transitions, and complex governance challenges.

My work focuses on helping leaders build organizations that are not only operationally strong but also aligned with the values and communities they serve.

I believe strong institutions are not created through policy alone. They are built through clear leadership, strong relationships, and values-aligned systems.
